Powerful Spoken Words
From someone who’s been through some serious ****
When someone says,
“I’ll pray for you.”
They are some of the most powerful spoken words.
When someone lays their hands on you and genuinely loves on you right there in your despair, there is always a level of powerful healing. Luke 4:40 calls us to pray healing into others. We all have that power when we call on the Spirit’s presence with each other.
However… I tell you an equal truth.
“I’ll pray for you.”
Can also feel like the most empty words you’ve ever heard in your life… (hug tug here right?)
The combination of meaningful
WORDS AND ACTIONS
represent true ‘translations’ of
our INNER HEART.
This is real love.
I challenge you this week: pray WITH someone you promised to.
If we all love 1 person this way with words and actions, we’d make a huge impact in our world.
One follow through is better than none.
This week, pray with at least one human
In person, on the phone, on a video call or by text.
